Recruiting doctoral candidates is a key responsibility for universities and crucial to advancing research across all disciplines. A centralized application portal for faculty and applicants can make the application process for doctoral positions at the Technical University of Munich more efficient and streamlined. Ensuring that the portal supports a transparent, standardized, and accessible application process is essential to maintaining high academic standards. This thesis designs and implements two core features of the portal: a review module and an email notification module. The portal strongly emphasizes inclusivity and accessibility, aiming to lower entry barriers and attract more women to pursue doctoral degrees.
